In consideration of being permitted to utilize the facilities
and/or property of the Newport United Methodist Church, the applicant
agrees to assume all liability and responsibility for any harm
suffered by any person(s) resulting from the applicant's use of
the church facilities, furniture and/or equipment. The applicant
agrees to indemnify and holds harmless the church from any and
all damages, claims, or loss resulting directly or indirectly
from acts or omissions of the applicant, or the church. It is
the intent of the parties that the applicant indemnify and hold
harmless the church for any harm which would not have resulted
but for this application and agreement between the church and
the applicant. The applicant further agrees to pay the church
for any loss or damage to the property possessed by the church.
The signing of this agreement has been made with a full and complete
understanding of assumed liability by the applicant and having
read the church's brochure entitled, Rules & Regulations
Governing the Use of the Church Facilities .
